How to reach us during the construction work

SBB is building directly in front of the venue. Fabrikstrasse is closed between Waldheimstrasse and the Eventforum, for pedestrians and vehicles alike.

  1. Bus 101 from Bern main station to Güterbahnhof (7 minutes).
  2. Follow Fabrikstrasse up to the barrier at Waldheimstrasse.
  3. Turn left, then after about 30 metres right onto the footpath across the vonRoll site.
  4. At the end of the footpath, turn right to the main entrance of Eventforum Bern.

As of 20 October 2026. According to SBB, the road has been closed since 1 September 2025 and will remain closed at least until the end of 2026.

  • Suppliers

    Loading and unloading in front of the building at Fabrikstrasse 12 remains possible. Access is currently only via Länggassstrasse / Fabrikstrasse. Vehicles must then be moved to another parking space.

  • Accessibility

    Eventforum Bern has step-free access. Due to the construction work, guests using wheelchairs or pushchairs, or with reduced mobility, should allow a little extra time for their journey.

There is no parking for guests at Eventforum Bern. Allow extra time for parking and the walk. Suppliers and technicians will find the access route on the map above.

Fastest connection on a Tuesday morning according to the SBB timetable (October 2026). To the door: train time plus about 15 minutes for the change, bus 101 and the walk.

That is why national associations, professional societies and public authorities often meet in Bern. Eventforum Bern offers the event hall for up to 380 guests, two fixed interpreting booths for bilingual events and the setting for general meetings and conferences.

Take bus 101 to the “Güterbahnhof” stop, a 7-minute ride. From there it is about 200 metres on foot across the vonRoll site. Walking from Bern station takes about 15 minutes.

Not for guests. The nearest car parks are Parkhaus Insel (exit Forsthaus, follow the signs for Inselspital) and Parkhaus Neufeld (exit Neufeld, P+R). Allow extra time for parking and the walk. A few spaces next to the building are available for suppliers and event managers by arrangement only.

At the loading area right in front of the building at Fabrikstrasse 12. Access is via Bremgartenstrasse and Länggassstrasse into Fabrikstrasse; there is no access from Murtenstrasse. After unloading, please park the vehicle elsewhere.

According to SBB, Fabrikstrasse has been closed since 1 September 2025 and will remain closed until at least the end of 2026. We will update this page as soon as anything changes.

A direct train from Zurich Airport reaches Bern in about 1 hour 12 minutes, from Geneva Airport in about 2 hours. From Bern station, add 7 minutes on bus 101 and the short walk.
