The foyer serves several purposes throughout your event. Depending on how you wish to shape your occasion, you can use it for the following activities:
Reception & information
The foyer is your guests' first point of arrival. Participants can be welcomed, registered and given all the key event information here. Cloakroom facilities, name-badge distribution and personal assistance can also be organised directly in the entrance area.
A professional welcome
Catering & breaks
Between programme sessions, your guests move into the foyer, where coffee stations or buffets can await them. Longstanding catering partners, principally ZFV, handle the coordination and provide appropriate refreshments.

Networking & conversation
Good conferences and other events also need space beyond the programme. The 160 m² foyer provides ample room for informal conversation while keeping groups together. Connections form naturally over coffee and during breaks.

How is catering organised in the foyer?
We coordinate the catering setup with you and our partners. Catering is generally provided by ZFV, whose premises are directly beside the building. Further selected partners are available for occasions with specific culinary requirements.

Yes, the ground-floor foyer, entrance area and event hall have step-free access. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available. A lift connects the ground floor to the lower-ground workshop rooms.

Yes, Eventforum Bern is booked by the day. All spaces are also available for multi-day formats. We will be happy to provide details on request.

The number of standing tables that fit in the foyer depends on the desired setup. We advise you on the furniture layout and ensure all your guests have enough space.
How is the foyer cleaned after an event?
Post-event cleaning is included in the hire. Hand the spaces back to us and we will take care of the rest.
